+++ Neue Infos +++

Die offizille Aufstellung wurde bekannt gegeben: Ihr findet uns an Position 26 vor der Kunsthalle (Am Wall). Im Gegansatz zum Vorjahr wurde das Sicherheitskonzept angepasst - die Kundgebungsfläche, auf der wir starten, wird stärker eingezäunt als im Vorjahr. Es lässt sich nur mutmaßen, ob wir zufällig an dieser Position starten oder ob die Ordnugsbeöhrden glauben, uns dort besser im Griff zu haben. Wir sind extra den offizielen Weg gegangen und haben den Kontakt zur CSD Orga gesucht, weil wir ein starktes antifaschistische Zeichen auf dem CSD setzen möchten. Die Cops haben gegenüber den Organisator*innen Bedenken wegen unserer Teilnahme geäußert. Sie werden extra Kräfte in Bereitschaft halten, um zu deeskalieren. Der CSD  Bremen möchte uns trotzdem die Teilnahme ermöglichen und respektiert unseren Wunsch nach Anonymität. Für Menschen, die nicht im eingezäunten Bereich starten möchten, besteht die Option, entlang der Strecke zu uns zu stoßen.

Wir wurden im Vorfeld von der Orga auf unser geplanets Transpi angesprochen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass das Motiv schockieren würde. Wir wurden gebeten, das Transpi beim CSD nicht auszupacken. Wir arbeiten derzeit an einer Lösung, den Anforderugen des CSD’s gerecht zu werden, ohne von unserem Grundkonzept abzuweichen.

Sollte das Transpi den Ordnungsbehörden nicht passen ist damit zu rechnen, dass wir am Loslaufen gehindert werden oder die Cops das Transpi einkassieren möchten. 
Daher sind wir auf EURE SOLIDARITÄT angewiesen, um unsere Meinung und Kritik am CSD äußern zu können.
Uns werden weitere Steine in den Weg gelegt, da wir unsere Queer Libaration nicht leben dürfen - das Tragen einer FFP2-Maske wurde für den gesamten Block verboten. Lediglich einzelne Personen sollen eine Maske tragen dürfen. Für die Cops endet Vielfalt und Toleranz beim Gesundheitsschutz, was in unseren Augen ableistisch ist und Menschen daran hindert, sorglos an unserer der Demo teilzuhaben.  Cosplay & Fetisch higegen sind erlaubt, ebenso wie Schminken.

Am Aufzug nimmt dieses Jahr auch eine Gruppe teil, die transgeschlechtliche Personen - insbeondere Transfrauen - diskriminert oder die Transidantität infrage stellen (TERF). Diese Gruppe fiel in der Vergangenheit mit massiven Störversuchen auf (Transpis, Einmischung in Demos und Open-Mics etc.)
Daher möchten wir euch bitten, aufmerksam zu sein, um Störversuche rechtzeit zu erkennen. Passt auf euch auf!

Alkohol & Drogen:
Wir wurden darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir Menschen ausschließen, da wir keine Drogen (explizit auch keinen Alkohol) un unserem Block dulden. Daher möchten wir an dieser Stelle betonen, dass Selbstmedikation von dieser Regel ausgenommen ist. Wir nehmen dieses Kritik auf und bitten um Entschuldigung.

The official lineup has been announced: You can find us at position 26 in front of the Kunsthalle (Am Wall). Unlike last year, the security concept has been adjusted – the assembly area where we start will be fenced off more strongly than in the previous year. It can only be speculated whether we are randomly placed at this position or if the authorities believe they can control us better there. We took the official route and contacted the CSD organization because we want to make a strong anti-fascist statement at the Pride Parade. The police have expressed concerns about our participation to the organizers. They will have extra forces on standby to de-escalate the situation. Despite this, CSD Bremen still wants to allow us to participate and respects our request for anonymity. For individuals who do not wish to start within the fenced area, there is the option to join us along the route.
The organizers approached us beforehand about our planned banner. We were told that the motif could be shocking. We were asked not to unveil the banner at the Pride Parade. We are currently working on a solution to meet the requirements of the CSD while not deviating from our fundamental concept.

If the authorities are not pleased with the banner, it’s possible that we might be prevented from marching or that the police may want to confiscate the banner. Therefore, we rely on YOUR SOLIDARITY to be able to express our opinions and criticism of the Pride Parade.
We are facing further obstacles, as we are not allowed to live our Queer Liberation – wearing an FFP2 mask has been prohibited for the entire group. Only individual persons are supposed to wear masks. For the police, diversity and tolerance seem to end at health protection, which in our view is ableist and prevents people from participating in the demonstration without worries. Cosplay & fetish, on the other hand, are allowed, as well as makeup.
This year, a group that discriminates against transgender individuals, especially trans women, or questions transgender identity (TERF) is also participating in the parade. This group has been known in the past for disruptive behavior (banners, interrupting demonstrations and open mics, etc.).
Therefore, we kindly ask you to be vigilant in order to identify any disruptive attempts in advance. Take care of yourselves!

Alcohol & Drugs: We have been made aware that we are excluding individuals because we do not tolerate drugs (explicitly including alcohol) in our area. Therefore, we would like to emphasize at this point that self-medication is exempt from this rule. We acknowledge this criticism and apologize.

Das diesjährige Motto des CSD Bremen 2023 lautet: “The first pride was a riot”. Schon vor der Wahl des Mottos war für uns klar, wir kommen nicht für die Party, wir kommen für den Protest! Unsere Vorstellung von Queer Liberation ist antifaschistisch, antikapitalistisch, antirassistisch und intersektional. Wenn du auch Kritik an der Entpolitisierung und Kommerzialisierung des CSD üben möchtet, dann schließ dich am 26. August 2023 unserer Fußgruppe an.

The First Pride was a Riot!

Kämpfe der LGBTQIA+ Community waren schon immer radikal und müssen auch weiterhin so geführt werden.

Die Stonewall Riots richteten sich gegen die Cops und den Staat. Auch heute werden Menschen, die nicht den staatlich vorgeschriebenen Geschlechterrollen entsprechen oder sich/und sich nicht als “Hetero” identifizieren, weltweit durch strukturelle, körperliche und psychische Gewalt aktiv aus der Gesellschaft ausgeschlossen und systematisch unterdrückt.

In Deutschland finden sich derzeit Warnungen über die “trans* Agenda”, einen Schulterschluss mit TERFS und Diskussionen, ob Drag Queens Kindern etwas vorlesen dürfen im Diskurs der vermeintlichen politischen “Mitte” ebenso wieder, wie zahlreiche andere queerfeindliche Themen und Narrative. Was daraus resultiert? 2023 fand noch kein CSD statt, der nicht von Gewalt gegen ihre Teilnehmenden begleitet war.

Aber nicht erst seit diesem Jahr sollte Mensch darüber nachdenken, ob der CSD wirklich eine Demo ist - oder doch nur eine regenbogenfarbene-angestrichene Werbeparade zum Polieren des Images zahlreicher Firmen. Die Vereinnahmung unseres Prides durch den Kommerz des Kapitalismus ist reiner Hohn, nicht nur vor dem Hintergrund dessen, was wir und unsere queeren Geschwister an tagtäglicher Gewalt und Repression erleben. Dabei gilt natürlich, dass Menschen, die von Rassismus betroffen sind und/oder von Klassizismus und/oder von Ableismus deutlich mehr Repressionen erfahren als der Rest. Es geht schon immer und immer noch darum, dass über den Schutz von queeren Leben verhandelt wird und die Selbstbestimmung von queeren Körpern in der Gesellschaft dämonisiert wird.

Vielleicht gibt sich die bürgerliche weiße Mittelschicht lieber mit regenbogenfarbenen BMWs zufrieden als auch nur einen Lego Stein in die Hand zunehmen, um ihn gegen die Diskriminierung von LGBTQIA+ Menschen zu werfen.

Wir haben jedenfalls genug.

Wir sind ein linkes Bündnis aus LGBTQIA+, Nicht-binären Personen, Frauen und Allys und wir lassen unsere Kämpfe nicht von Terfs oder anderen Rechten gegeneinander ausspielen. Wir haben als Queers schon immer zusammen, Schulter an Schulter gekämpft.

Unsere Vorstellung von Queer Liberation ist antifaschistisch, antikapitalistisch, antirassistisch und intersektional. Es müssen Kämpfe zusammen gedacht werden und das kapitalistische, System abgeschafft, um eine sichere Welt für LGBTQIA+ Menschen zu schaffen.

Da wir als Bündnis an genau jener Demo, die wir für ihre Kommerzialisierung so stark kritisieren, teilnehmen, gibt es in unserem Block einige Regeln. Wir wollen mit diesen Regeln den Rahmen für einen Safer-Space im CSD schaffen, der unseren Vorstellung von einem solidarischen gemeinsamen Leben und Umgang miteinander entspricht und eine kämpferische Alternative zu dem aufmacht, was uns in unserem Alltag und auch mit dem CSD als “normal” verkauft wird.

Deshalb gilt für uns und alle Menschen, die sich uns anschließen mögen:

- Im Block ist das Konsumieren von Drogen, und hier schließen wir explizit Alkohol ein, nicht erwünscht und auch die Teilnahme am Block unter Drogeneinfluss wird von uns nicht geduldet.

- Wir wollen im Block keine Parteifahnen und -symbole sowie keine Gruppenlogos und keine Nationalflaggen.

- Wir werden im Block kein Mackerverhalten akzeptieren.

- Wir freuen uns über farbenfrohe Beiträge während der Demo und bitten dabei Rücksicht auf disabled Personen zu nehmen, was die Lautstärke angeht.

- Wenn ihr an unserem CSD-Block teilnehmen wollt, tragt eine FFP2-Maske. Bringt gern auch noch eine Ersatzmaske mit, die ihr solidarisch an unvorbereitete Menschen weiterreichen könnt. Auch hiermit wollen wir unseren Block für disabled Personen zugänglicher machen. Seid solidarisch.

- Kommt bitte nicht zur Demo, solltet ihr Anzeichen eines Infekts/Erkältung haben  und testet euch gern vorher.

- Wir freuen uns über eure Kreativität und Ideen für die Umsetzung unseres Safer-Spaces auch über unseren Block hinaus.

Warnung: Im Rahmen des CSDs werden wir als Block laut sein - durch Musik und Sprechchöre! Wir bemühen uns aber darum, innerhalb des Blockes Orte zu ermöglichen, die zumindest von der von uns abgespielten Musik so weit entfernt sind, dass die Lautstärke reduziert ist. Wir bieten außerdem Ohropax an für alle Menschen, denen das Abschirmen von Geräuschen möglicherweise hilft.

The motto of this year’s CSD Bremen 2023 is: “The first pride was a riot.” Even before choosing the motto, it was clear to us that we are not here for the party; we are here for the protest! Our vision of Queer Liberation is anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, anti-racist, and intersectional. If you also want to criticize the depoliticization and commercialization of the CSD, then join our marching group on August 26, 2023.

The First Pride was a Riot!

The struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community have always been radical and must continue to be so. The Stonewall Riots were directed against the police and the state. Even today, individuals who don’t conform to state-imposed gender roles or who don’t identify as ‘hetero’ are globally excluded from society through structural, physical, and psychological violence, systematically oppressed.

In Germany, there are current warnings about the ’trans* agenda,’ alignment with TERFS (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists), and debates about whether drag queens are allowed to read to children, all of which resurface in the discourse of the supposed political ‘center,’ alongside numerous other queer-hostile themes and narratives. The result? In 2023, there hasn’t been a Pride Parade without violence against its participants.

However, it’s not just this year that one should ponder whether the Pride Parade is truly a demonstration or merely a rainbow-painted advertising parade to polish the image of numerous companies. The co-opting of our Pride by capitalist commerce is a mockery, not just in light of what we and our queer siblings experience in terms of daily violence and repression. It’s clear that individuals affected by racism, classism, and ableism experience far more repression than the rest. The negotiation over the protection of queer lives has always been and still is at stake, with the self-determination of queer bodies being demonized in society.

Perhaps the bourgeois white middle class would rather content themselves with rainbow-colored BMWs than pick up one Lego brick to fight against the discrimination of LGBTQIA+ individuals.

In any case, we’ve had enough.

We are a left-wing coalition of LGBTQIA+ individuals, non-binary people, women, and allies, and we won’t let our struggles be played against each other by TERFs or other right-wing groups. As queers, we have always fought together, shoulder to shoulder.

Our vision of Queer Liberation is antifascist, anticapitalist, antiracist, and intersectional. Struggles must be thought of together, and the capitalist system must be abolished to create a safe world for LGBTQIA+ people.

As an alliance, participating in the very demonstration that we strongly criticize for its commercialization, there are certain rules within our block. With these rules, we aim to establish a framework for a safer space at the Pride Parade that aligns with our vision of a solidaric coexistence and interaction, presenting a spirited alternative to what is portrayed as “normal” in our daily lives and even with the Pride Parade.

Hence, for us and all those who might join us, the following applies:

- The consumption of drugs, explicitly including alcohol, is not desired within our block, and participating in the block under the influence of drugs is not tolerated.

- We do not want any party flags, symbols, group logos, or national flags within our block.

- Displays of macho behavior will not be accepted within our block.

- We welcome colorful contributions during the demonstration, while also asking for consideration regarding noise levels, particularly for disabled individuals.

- If you wish to join our Pride Parade block, please wear a FFP2 mask. You are encouraged to bring a spare mask that you can offer in solidarity to those who might not have come prepared. This is another way we aim to make our block more accessible for disabled individuals. Be supportive.

- If you show signs of illness or a cold, please refrain from attending the demonstration and consider getting tested beforehand.

- We appreciate your creativity and ideas for implementing our safer space concept not only within our block but also beyond.

Warning: As part of the Pride Parade, our block will be loud – including music and chants! However, we are striving to designate areas within the block that are somewhat distant from the music we play, in order to reduce noise levels. We are also providing earplugs for anyone who might find noise-cancellation helpful.
